PBIS Announcement!
The PBIS focus for the 4th 9 weeks at Wellsville Jr/Sr High School is on ATTENDANCE!
Attendance matters because...
Students who attend school regularly are more likely to stay on track academically, build strong relationships with peers and staff, and develop positive habits that carry into the future. Good attendance improves grades, increases the chances of graduating on time, and sets students up for success in both college and career paths. Simply put—showing up is one of the best ways to level up.
This is also testing season, and to incentivize our students to be here on every testing day, those who have perfect attendance (regardless of whether they are testing or not) will be rewarded with a carnival-themed cookout in May, during their extended lunch periods!
Besides every day, the dates we need our students in attendance in order to enjoy the cookout are:
April 8th – April 11th
April 22nd – April 25th
April 28th – May 2nd
May 6th and 7th
Let’s see if we can get 100% school attendance on these days!
